We have finally made it to that transitional time of year where school is starting and summer is coming to an end. For some reason this time of year always makes me eager to knit stripes. Wether you choose to use the colors of your alma mater or something more subtle there is a pattern out there to suite your stripe preference. I think that stripes are a perfect, classy way to head off to a new school your or to jumpstart your fall knitting.
If you have never tried color work and would like to give it a go, striping is a great place to start! Here is a great tutorial on how to knit jogless stripes.

This week’s 30 Day Sweater show and tell is by Pepperberryknits on Instagram. She used the 30 Day Sweater system to design this simple sweater inspired by Lindsay Bluth! Awesome job!
If you’d like to show off your 30 Day Sweater you can submit your photos by email at photos@30daysweater.com or by using the hashtag #30daysweater on Instagram or Facebook.
