It is officially summer and we have a few more months of warm weather to go before we get into our fall knitting. This week I’ve put together some of my favorite lightweight cardigan patterns. They are wonderful for layering over your summer tanks and dresses! If it takes a while to finish they are also perfect for the warm weather of the early fall.
Each of the following sweaters features a lighter yarn than you may be used to knitting sweaters with. Using smaller yarn actually makes the sweater feel great on your skin and lay wonderfully. If you’ve never knit a sweater with yarn lighter than worsted weight now is a great time to try, I’m certain you’ll be hooked!
