I’ve always wondered, is there a difference between a sweater and a knitted shirt? I mean really, where is the line that says this is no longer a sweater? This week I decided to pull together my favorite patterns that toe the line between sweater and shirt with my top 10 lacey summer pullovers.
Each of the following patterns have short sleeves, are pullover style and feature some lace details to keep your summer knitting interesting! These sweaters/shirts/blouses(?) would be great for outdoor summer fun but are still dressy enough to wear to the office.
If you’ve never tried lace this would be a great place to start! Small sections of lace and simple eyelet details add so much to a sweater and are simpler than you might think. If you’re still a little bit wary of lace I would recommend the Amelie or Daily Vanilla patterns that have less lace but you’ll still get to dip your toes in and see how you like it.
